Ausiello: The fifth episode is going to Blow. You. Away. “It is absolutely one of the biggest episodes we have ever done,” declares exec producer Steven S. DeKnight. “It’s just huge in terms of scope. And it has a shocking conclusion.” Episode 4 is no slouch either. “It’s a classic Spartacus episode on the villains and the heroes side,” teases the boss man. “We do something very different on the heroes side.” The eppy also contains what DeKnight calls “one of the absolutely hottest, most salacious watercooler sex moments” in the show’s history. The twist? “There’s no nudity in it,” he says. “But trust me people will be talking about that the next morning.”
