SPARTACUS’ TV SHOW EXTRAS

We are currently searching for people to be
involved as extras and featured extras for a show called SPARTACUS. It will be a
stylistic show set in Rome around 300BC and similar to ‘300’ the movie in look,
made by the same company who created Hercules & Zena.
The show will air on US cable and will have a rating equivalent to our own
R18 and will contain graphic violence and appropriate nudity.
THE ROLES WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL:
1. Gladiator men - 180cm (5”11”) plus in height.
Muscular build.
Would be great to get guys that are already
fighters and have good physical capabilities.
All ethnicity but particularly anyone Italian,
Spanish, Greek or Bulgarian, Russian, African or Arabic
2. General town folk - "Romanesque", African and
Arabic ethnicity, Male and Female all ages.
3. Varying weird and wonderful looks (Male &
Female) for "pit scenes". All shapes and sizes, amputees, scarring, missing
teeth, character faces big or small in size.
SHOOTING DATES and FEES:
Initially you would be required on weekdays
between 22nd May – 5th June, and there may be ongoing work until October. The
studio is in Mt Wellington.
You will work a 12 hour day however you may be
required to come earlier for make-up and costume.
Talent will go into double time if working after
the 12.75 hours (.75 being lunch break).
Rates vary depending on performance required.
Standard extra rate is $240.00, Featured is $330
and then rates get higher dependent on performance/character/attire.
